Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the website outlierlabs.in and any services provided by Outlier Labs (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing this website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Outlier Labs provides software development, design, automation, and related digital services. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing for each engagement are defined in a separate project agreement or statement of work signed by both parties before work begins.

Nothing on this website constitutes a binding offer. All information is provided for general reference only.

Each project is governed by its own agreement that outlines scope, milestones, payment terms, and deliverables. In the event of a conflict between these terms and a project agreement, the project agreement prevails.

Client work. Upon final payment, all intellectual property rights in project deliverables transfer to you in full, including source code, design files, documentation, and content created for the project.

Our tools and frameworks. We retain ownership of pre-existing tools, libraries, and internal frameworks used across engagements. Where these are incorporated into your project, you receive a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use them within the delivered work.

Website content. All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and design, is owned by Outlier Labs and may not be reproduced without written permission.

Payment terms are defined in each project agreement. Standard terms include 50% upfront and 50% on completion for fixed-scope projects, milestone-based payments for larger builds, and monthly invoicing for retainers. Late payments may result in paused work until the balance is cleared.

Both parties agree to treat confidential information shared during an engagement with reasonable care. We are happy to sign a mutual NDA before any engagement begins. Confidentiality obligations survive termination of the engagement.

Every project includes 30 to 90 days of post-launch support, scaled to project size, covering bug fixes, performance tuning, and minor content changes. The specific support period and scope are documented in the project agreement. Additional support beyond this period is available on a retainer basis.

We deliver work to a professional standard and will correct defects reported during the support period at no additional cost. Beyond that, services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Outlier Labs shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or this website. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim.

Either party may terminate an engagement with 14 days’ written notice. On termination, you are responsible for payment of all work completed up to the termination date. We will deliver all work-in-progress files and provide a reasonable handover.

You agree to use this website lawfully and not to engage in any activity that could harm, disable, or impair its functionality. We reserve the right to restrict access to the website at our discretion.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
